Terms & Conditions of Entry

Information on entry forms and the prize itself form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed to be on acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Radio & Internet Competition run by Perfect Blinds in September 2009.
The promoter is Perfect Blinds 53 Grange Road Cheltenham Vic 3192 Melbourne, Australia.
Entry is open to residents of Victoria, Australia only.
Participants may only enter once and in their own name.
Employees or Suppliers of Perfect Blinds and their families are not permitted to enter.
To enter, entrants must validly complete the supplied entry form and include:
- First Name
- Surname
- Valid Contact Phone Number
- Valid Contact Email Address
- State in 25 words or less why they want Perfect Blinds for their home
An entry is invalid if illegible or incomplete.
Entry for the competition commences at midnight 6th September 2009.
Entries close at midnight on Sunday the 27th of September. Perfect Blinds may extend the time for, vary or terminate this competition at any time in its absolute discretion. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by Perfect Blinds and not at the time of submission by the entrant.
Entries may be submitted online at www.perfectblinds.com.au using the online application form. Once submitted, they will then be sent to Perfect Blinds head office in Melbourne for review and judging.
From the correct entries, 5 winners will be selected based on whether their entry form has been completed correctly and on the response they provided to the question “Why do you want Perfect Blinds in your home?”.
Judging will be conducted at Perfect Blinds head office at 53 Grange Road Cheltenham Vic 3192 Melbourne, Australia week commencing Monday the 28th of September.
Entrants must be authorized to disclose the information they provide and be aware that Perfect Blinds will use the data for commercial applications including communicating with entrants via email.
The winner will be notified via email and/or phone based on the contact details supplied and winners will be published in the Herald Sun notices on Monday the 5th of October 2009.
Entries become the property of Perfect Blinds and the information they contain may be used, along with the experience of the winners, for commercial purposes including but not limited to: Internet, Direct Mail, In Store Display, Public Relations Activity. Your personal information is safeguarded by privacy laws. Perfect Blinds requires the contact details to process entries and to contact you in the event that you win the competition. Entrants' contact details may be provided to others assisting in the administration of the competition, including prize suppliers and deliverers. Unless notified otherwise, Perfect Blinds reserves the right to publish the names and photographs of the winner. You can ask to see your personal information which Perfect Blinds holds.
Entrants who do not comply with conditions or who tamper with the entry process will be deemed ineligible or disqualified.
The 5 winners will each win a $1000 voucher (including GST) which can be redeemed from Perfect Blinds on their Roller, Sunscreen, Venetian and Holland blinds ranges as well as installation and to be installed in one home only. Winners who wish to purchase additional blinds or a more expensive blind can do so at their additional expense. Winners who do not use all of their voucher or do not use their voucher within 6 months will have the prize (or remaining value of the prize) withdrawn. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. The total prize pool is $5000 (including GST).
The winner of the prize must produce identification in a form acceptable to Perfect Blinds before collection of the prize and must sign an acknowledgement that he or she has received the prize. If the winner is not readily identified after reasonable efforts have been made to identify the winner, Perfect Blinds may, subject to any legislative requirements, in its absolute discretion declare the winner to be ineligible and award the prize to another entrant chosen by the judges in their absolute discretion.
